We are so excited that highlands (a breed that was considered 'at risk') are so popular on social media right now but just in case you are new to owning cattle/highlands, here are a few things to think about:

Our highlands are purebred and "mid-size". At maturity they are generally 42 - 48" at the hook.

Our highlands require daily handling to remain friendly and pet-like but they aren't really pets.

Highlands require up to 1 acre per animal and require shade
-
Cows are herd animals and require at least one other cow
